Meet the New Team Members!
Running a small business means wearing a lot of hats. When I first started, I was doing everything—scanning books, transcribing, managing the website, handling social media, bookkeeping, and more. But trying to do it all wasn’t sustainable. Over time, I slowly brought in a few people to help with different tasks, and this year, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to find the right people to take on the part I’ve struggled with the most—social media and emails.
The hardest part has been finding someone who truly understands the niche world of Charlotte Mason/Living Books homeschooling. So I feel especially lucky to have found two wonderful ladies who were already customers of mine!
Meet Renee
Renee has taken over my social media and is doing a fantastic job. She’s been a customer for years and is a homeschooling mum in Melbourne, Australia, where she lives with her husband, five children, and her favorite little black cat, Prim. She’s a wholehearted reader and book club enthusiast, embracing a story-formed life filled with coffee, nature, and the beautiful chaos of a big family. She also runs Blossoming through Books, a book club ministry that offers free resources, book reviews, and wonderful literary content. You can find her at @blossomingthroughbooks.
Meet Julienne
Julienne first reached out to ask about some books, and I happened to notice her email signature mentioned marketing. I reached out to her over a year ago, and she put together a fantastic marketing plan… which I never got around to implementing (classic small business life!). This year, I asked if she’d be willing to take over emails, with plans to expand things as we go. You can find her at juliennedesjardins.com.
I’m so grateful to have both of them on board! Their help means I can focus more on what I love—bringing beautiful books back into the world.
